Our vintage market totes are mainly crafted from vintage textiles that we have sourced online.

We try to select only 100% cotton fabrics that are still in good, durable, usable condition.

The accent fabrics, like the handles, were sourced from our pre-existing fabric stash.

All waste leftover from the tote bags is saved to be utilized in other projects.

The least sustainable part of these bags was the receipt if the materials. The vintage textiles were purchased online and came from a variety of locations across the United States, which does increase their carbon footprint. Also the textiles arrived in a variety of packages, some of which included plastics and non-recyclable packing materials.
